Role Overview

As a Process Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between innovative R&D concepts and high-scale production reality. Your primary mission is to design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes that maximize efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Process Development & Optimization

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for improved productivity and quality.
  • Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, viscosity, and reaction conditions.
  • Analyze production data and recommend process improvements.
  • Support scale-up activities from laboratory to pilot and commercial production.

Production Support

  • Troubleshoot process-related issues during manufacturing.
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment and process systems.
  • Reduce production downtime and improve process efficiency.
  • Coordinate with production teams for continuous process improvement.

Quality & Documentation

  • Prepare SOPs, batch records, process flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Equipment & Process Design

  • Assist in selection and commissioning of process equipment.
  • Support extrusion, coating, mixing, reaction, or compounding operations as applicable.
  • Evaluate new technologies and process modifications.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure safe handling of chemicals and process operations.
  • Follow environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines.
  • Participate in risk assessment and hazard analysis activities.

Required Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Polymer Engineering
  • Process Engineering

Experience

  • Fresher to 1+ years experience
  • Experience in polymer, chemical, coating, adhesive, packaging, or manufacturing industry preferred
